*******PROPER WAY TO MEASURE FOR A WINTHROP ROLLER TIP: Due to the taper of the tube, the measurement needs to be taken 1" below the tip of the blank using a caliper. Tube is measured in 64ths of an inch. If your caliper measures in 16ths,  a measurement of 3/16ths converts to 12/64ths which equals a size 12 Winthrop Roller Tip. If your caliper returns a decimal in inches, multiply that number by 64. For example, a measurement of .19" x 64 = 12 again. If your caliper reads in MM, then convert to inches by dividing the number by 25.4 and then follow the step above to get tube size. For example, 4.92mm / 25.4 = .19" x 64 = 12 tube size.
